From 9–14 September, the brand-new Lancia Aprea 42 takes a bow at the Cannes Yachting Festival — and she’s exactly the kind of elegant, usable dayboat/weekender we love to place with Northern European owners. You’ll find her at Vieux Port, Stand QSP146 with Berth QSP038.
Why we’re excited (and you should be too)
Designed to be lived on, not just looked at. Developed with Brunello Acampora’s Victory Design, the 42 follows a Total Design philosophy — style, ergonomics, comfort and safety are baked in from the first sketch. A new “Wide” hull underpins confident seakeeping.
A smart, civilised interior. The Family layout introduces the “Comfort Corner” — a cosy indoor bar/coffee nook so mornings (and midnight snacks) stay effortless. Materials are curated with Loro Piana for a quietly luxurious feel.
Craft that whispers quality. Mirror-polished mahogany, sixteen hand-applied coats of varnish, and detailing that harks back to Sorrento’s master shipwrights. It’s modern Riviera with real heritage.

The premiere boat wears Aurora Gold, inspired by sunrise over Capri — paired with that trademark mahogany and a refreshed stern design. It’s tasteful, a little daring, and very collectible.
